omg its freaky i just logged in and it was like we have blocked your account because someone has got your email %26amp; password its scary,and like a few weeks or whatever earlier bullitins were being sent from my account but i wasnt sending them and they said about free ring tones or something!!!

anyways how can i prevent this and how the heck do people hack into myspaces are they super brainy geeks or something?has this ever happend to you?

There are a lot of "fake" my space pages that exist and if you log into one of these "fake" pages you may have just given someone access to your username and password. This is done in hopes of you having an ebay, paypal, or any financial account with the same email address and passwords. It is common amongst many people to use the same username and passwords on multiple sites. Here is a javascript code you can copy and paste into the address bar in your browser to verify the page you're logging into is legit.

Copy this code and go to myspace homepage or any site you log into with a user name and password. Delete what is in the address bar and paste the above code in it's place then hit enter. It will pop up a box telling you what site you're at and the sites actual address. See that they match.

this almost always happens because another place will ask you to "login to your myspace" but the url is not from the myspace.com domain. just watch the places you login to.
