Her Myspace profile account said the other day that "raul owns this *****" And its happend to other people!!

Ive been told by a few m8's, the hacker :raul" mite have an invisable programme on my computer, so he can see what we are typeing e.g knowing our other passwords!! Ive been told to completley format my drive and install windows xp again!! Does she need to delete her myspace account aswell and start fresh? also msn buddies?

the hidden programme called trojan you need to find it and delete it , her computer could be inficted so ask her to make the same thing you do with ur pc.

No, don't bother doing that. Your g/f's account probably had a weak login password. Meaning, someone took a program, which I am not naming on Yahoo Answers, and using your g/f's login name, they cracked (keyword is cracked, not hacked) your g/f's password. If she can get back into her account, have her change her password to a non dictionary word or a non person's name atleast 6 charcters or digits long.

I Dont think you possibly can get the account back if its cracked. Try signing in. If it works then, immediately change the password to something more complex not just simple words.

And there may not be any need to Format your Hard Drive. With it, just install a Virus Guard.

Warning:

For the last couple of Months MySpace Phising has occured. Phising is when fake login pages are created by a hacker with very simular URL to that of the login page.

Your GF most likely typed in her password into one of these fake login in screens and the hacker no has all her details.

Advice change all major passwords instantly....

Check her/your pc for spyware

It - as others have suggested could have been cracked.... so don't use words as passwords.

Please also report the site to MySpace so that they can look into this. If "Raul" is a hacker he is breaking the law.

And for the future ALWAYS check the URL to minimise phising and download IE 7 which has a phising detection installed.

I would check the pc for spyware, it sounds likely that this was a phishing attempt. She mustn't type any other passwords until her pc is clear. And she must change all her passwords asap.

Also she needs to contact customer care at myspace and tell them, she should be able to get her account back.

You may need to switch off System Restore as back up files will be hiding in there, and it will just restore itself. Go to Start - programs - accessories - system tools - system restore.

Run your anti virus and anti spyware in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode repeatedly press the F8 key after the bios screen loads but before Windows loads. You'll know if you made it because the screen will be at 800 x 600 and your pc will be slow.

Then beef up your security. Its easier to prevent malware getting on to your sytem in the first place rather than trying to remove it. All the following programs are free for home use;
