I was hacked on myspace and I have been trying to change my password but I can't?

I got the whole message from Tom on my myspace home page. It told me what happened and what to do and to change my password. However, I can't change my password. The verification code (with the weird letters and designs) doesn't show. It's just a red X. When I clicked to show picture, it didn't work, either. When I go to account settings, it says the server is too busy. I really DO NOT want to make a new account. =(. Please tell me if there's any way to fix this.

Nothing is wrong with your account, something is wrong with myspace right now. The same thing is happening to many people right now. Just wait until they fix the site

My profile just got phished too, and I can't change my password either, so all I know is sit tight until morning and hopefully the captchas (thingy with all the letters) will be fixed by then. I'm super glad to know I'm not alone though...

Yes, you can write and complain. Keep doing this and eventually they will (reboot) your myspace account.
