Is it true that tom (myspace) hacks on to peoples accounts?

me and my friend have gotten msgs. sent at like 1 in the morning....and we did not write them...???does that mean it is him or someone else

Is it true that tom (myspace) hacks on to peoples accounts?

I doubt it. Tom makes his money by selling advertising. Don't think he would have much to gain by invading the privacy or content of any one's page.

He would have a lot to lose, though.

I doubt it's Tom, Myspace is his lively hood, why would he do that to himself. It's probably some other moron with too much time on their hands. You probably got phished, change your password.

Is it true that tom (myspace) hacks on to peoples accounts?

Well, no, thats not true. Why?:

Because Tom is the creator of Myspace.com, he can do whatever he pleases, but he is not like that because myspace is really famous and he cannot risk getting in trouble.

If he wanted to, he could just sign onto your name and do whatever, but its not like that. Because, remember, all of your sign-up information is stored in the myspace database.....

but no, Tom doesn't sign into other people's accounts. Other people hack others' myspace accounts.

Is it true that tom (myspace) hacks on to peoples accounts?

i very highly doubt it! tom has much more important things to do. seriously, what would be the point of him hacking into some random persons profile?

Is it true that tom (myspace) hacks on to peoples accounts?

Tom doesn't do that. Change your password, its someone else who hacked into it.

Is it true that tom (myspace) hacks on to peoples accounts?

No, Tom does not hack into your account. If that has happened then your account has been phished. You will need to change your password immediately. Always review bulletins posted only by you by clicking on "Bulletin post" on the right side of your main screen. If phished you will not see them posted in the bulletins posted by your friends and yourself. It will be hidden from you but not the others. Deleat all that you have not posted. Also check for strange codes in your edit profile especially in the heros section. Deleat all advertisment that has been left as comments. If left on your page your account could be suspended by Myspace until you are cleared. Change password often!!! and make it hard to decipher.

No, Tom wouldn't do something like that. I have been a victim of a hacker on myspace. They really butchered my profile and I lost a lot of pics that can't be replaced. I posted a bulletin about how rude and selfish the hackers were to do that to me. A lot of others on myspace who read the bulletin started leaving bulletins about hackers and a couple days later, my profile was put back the way it was. Well, as close to the way it was before the hackers got it. I made sure to thank whoever it was.

If it were Tom, he would leave you a message telling you that you can't do anything on myspace until you change your password. If he puts that on your page, it means you got phished for your password. He and his staff work hard at getting rid of the hackers and phishers.

Change your password often and do not use anything as a password that can be viewed or deciphered from your profile.
