yes, there is a process known as phishing (fishing) look it up. I dont know how it works, but somehow they fish for your passwod, it happened to me. I had to change my password. It is possible her computer got hit with a "trojan horse" virus.

One of my friends had this happen too. Someone requested to be her friend and she added them, and somehow they got her password and spammed her friends and trashed her page.

Tell your friend to change her password, or delete her page and start again.
