I hacked my gf's myspace account(I know, I'm a creep) and she has been writing to her ex-bf, telling him she still loves him. I asked her why he was number 1 on her friends list and she said she didn't even realize that he was. I knew she was lying, so I used a program to get her password and found out the truth. I know she hasn't cheated physically because this guy lives 1000 miles away, but I still consider this cheating. In the meantime, we are living together, she is still affectionate towards me and says she loves me all the time. Should I confront her?

I'm a male but maybe I can shed some light... conveniently I just went through a similar situation. The first thing you have to analyze is what you stand to gain, and also lose, from confronting her. If you are comfortable enough in your relationship with her and you don't forsee this becoming a larger issue, then you may want to avoid confronting her about it. All that will result is her realizing that she has lost part of your trust in addition to you losing some of her trust from your actions, and it could lead to a decline in the relationship. Another possible outcome would be that you find out that she really doesn't love you to the full extent your expecting, regardless of how good a boyfriend you've been. In either case, your biggest concern should be to stay on top of the situation and proceed with caution... try to gather as much info as you can so you can make a more educated, objective decision. In my situation, I was with my gf for almost 4 years... lived together for most of it. I started seeing signs that something had/was changing between us. I started speculating that she was cheating by the way she acted and responded to me... well I did the same thing you did and checked her email (which in normal situations I feel is taboo since its their private information). My investigative work found out that she had been planning on moving out on me, only 3 months after I bought a house for her and I... she had everything set up, moving truck, lease signed for another place, etc... sure enough 2 weeks later she was gone. Hopefully your situation doesn't turn to that... but if your losing sleep over the issue, confront her. Its better to know where you stand (in her eyes) both as an individual and also as a couple. The last thing you want to find out down the road is that you have been giving 100% of your heart to her and she hasn't mutually reciprocated... Best of luck.

Absolutely! But now, because you snuck behind her back and invaded her privacy, there will be another issue. In order to talk to her regarding her ex, you have to tell her how you found out about it. But most definately bring this issue out into the open. She's obviously got some explaining to do.

NOOOOO! It's safe to say that all women have at least one boy, should he enter back into her life, that would make her stray, maybe just for an afternoon, or a few weeks. But he's an ex... for a reason. If you can hack, keep hacking! This could be fun. The bottom line is , she started it. This isn't a movie, where she is going to cry and break up with you because you LIED!! she should be ashamed, that's just sloppy. Myspace is as secure as Enron. Don't feel ashamed, Play with it.
