As far as I am aware, Myspace has not been seriously hacked lately. I'm sure that will change before long however.

Perhaps you need a more complicated password --- and need to change it regularly.

Myspace profiles are impossible to hack, they can only "phish" accounts by posting links that redirect you to a bogus sign in page. Best way to avoid it from happening is to be cautious about log in pages, if your browser doesn't say "myspace.com" then it's not a real log in page. Fake log in pages that appear spontaneously after clicking a link(could be in a email or even a picture) are more often than not a phishing site trying to steal your password and email address. MySpace' done a good job of eliminating the problem, usually web hosts delete the fake log in page after a few hours and MySpace' new "captcha" feature makes it more difficult for phishers to steal your password.

i don't think theres any like "magical code" or anything like that... have lots a numbers in your password, not just 2 like they say you need. make it one of your hidden hobbies of something like that. but do not make it obvious.

always make sure you log into the real myspace page, it should say www.myspace.com in your browser link.

never go to www.mypsace.com. alot of people make mistakes and dont realize it, they're brought to that fake page, and login, giving their password and login to the phishers and allowing them to "hack" your account.

remember to lie about your age if you're young, for example. you're 14, say you're 15 or 16.

also, never put your exact location. if you live in LA California, say you live in just Cali, or some random place, Cali.

and the most you can do when it comes to a hacker, is make sure your password is something really difficult to figure out; only something you would know, and include numbers or a birth year, one of your parents for example.

good luck!

don't give out password- don't have your password, and user name the same, change the password to something totally different then anything else you have..

and do NOT CLICK on the things you see on peoples profiles, and is like a girl in a bikini top - theese are viruses - so, dont' click on that video.
