My mum hacks everything. myspace, bebo u name it she hacks it. Thing is for christmas ive got a new laptop so we're not sharing one any more. We Share wireless broadband.

So My Question Is:

Can she hack into my laptop through wireless broadband and see wat syts ive been on?

( by the way i dnt go on any wrong syts, it just lyk i dnt lyk ppl invading my privacy)

And Secondly;

For Privacy Am I Better Off Deleting My Browers History Straight After Each Website ???

Your parents care enough to make sure you are not getting into any danger. It's not like they don't trust you - they don't trust the net.

Stop trying to hide your actions, which makes you look guilty of something, but rather, leave a trail for them to rest assured you are being safe.

(1) Learn how to spell, I can barely read parts of that

(2) As long as you put a password on your Windows account, and do not ever let her use it, she can not view your browsing history or anything. And as long as you do not share out any folders on your PC, she can not access your PC in any way. I doubt she "hacked" your myspace, you probably just have the PC save a cookie with your username and password.

Your mom is probably able to check whatever she wants. If you aren't going to any sites she wouldn't want to you to I don't really think you'd care if she could see them anyway. Stay off sites you know she wouldn't like and problem solved.

Pick better passwords and don't let her get on your laptop.

Yes she can... as long as your on the same network... no matter how many passwords you have.

yes she can hack it probably. the best thing to do would be to change your password frequently (i know, it sucks, but it works), and then set your history so that it doesnt save at all. you could just learn how to hack her back too though lol... it always works.

The best thing to do is keep your firewall on. And yes, delete your browsing history just to be safe. Might also be a good idea to password protect your computer.

no i do not belive so you share a connection you can't see the other pc over a connection unless she knows how to hack using ip addresses and as long as you use a program like ccleaner and delete all temporary internet files she can't know what you go on and make she to log off your pc

It doesn't matter if she has access to your PC really. She can monitor the traffic coming from your PC by logging from the router.

If you have something like the NETGEAR RP614, it can "controls that allow parents to limit URL access and monitor Internet activities"

If she wants to snoop, she can snoop. You can lock your PC up, change your passwords and enable every software firewall under the sun. If you're up to no good, she can easily find out.
